Mrs MacGregor was impressed by Tibby’s entry, pictured below, of a little frog. She says “The image is so clear and crisp and compositionally really great surrounded by grasses.”

In second place in this category is Alice’s Bee in the Daffodil, pictured below

And her choice for third place is Rufus who also had a picture of a bee surrounded by blue flowers.

Adult Category
Mrs MacGregor says “some excellent images to choose from but my favourite is the beautiful, strong bull by Kate Kettlewell. Great use of filters to enhance the colours in the sky and environment which surrounds this beautiful beast.

Mrs MacGregor’s second place choice goes to this fantastic image from Shabana Diouri of a close up of a child delicately examining a small creature.

And third place goes to the beautiful chaffinch in the tree by Niall Evans.
