In First Place: Mrs MacGregor says “For me the image which captures Nature at Its Best this week is this wonderful close up of a tulip in the Spring Sunshine. The intensity of the colour and wonderful repetition of shapes in the structure of the petals make this a winning image for me by Clara.”

In Second place: “This magical morning sunrise through the twisting trees and branches by Alice is great.”

In Third Place: “This image by William and Thomas says Nature at Its Best in Spring to me as we are surrounded by beautiful blossom trees at the moment. Against the bright blue sky and also featuring a colourful butterfly makes this a really special and hopeful image.”

In First Place: Mrs MacGregor says “For me the image which captures Nature at Its Best this week is this wonderful close up of this little bumble bee happily nestled amongst the blossom in the Spring sunshine by Fiona. A gorgeous close up of Nature at Its Best.”

In Second place: Cate’s wonderful red sky at night sunset photograph . I like that the sky dominates the composition with the silhouettes of the trees and buildings below bringing a sense of place to the image.

In Third Place: Colin Mackay and his majestic eagle in flight. Wow!

Congratulations folks! Great work.
Some really great photos and a very good idea to get children and adults alike inspired, especially in these rather difficult times. Well done Clara.
