Each year, 25 children from P7 take part in a significant challenge, walking from Fort William to Inverarnan over the course of three days to raise money for charity whilst making memories and having fun with friends. That challenge was due to take place this weekend but unfortunately has had to be cancelled. However that has not deterred Luke, one of the children chosen for this year’s challenge, and he has planned to complete his challenge at home!
Luke will start today and will follow the planned pattern of walking – 16 miles on the first day, 21 miles on the second day and 19 miles on the third day. He will be using a treadmill along with laps of his garden and his hourly permitted exercise each day to complete the miles.
