On Wednesday each week at 10.30 am Mr Skuse, Head of Junior School Music, leads a singalong via Zoom on his piano for approximately 30 minutes. This singalong on 17 June will be the last ahead of the summer break. Please encourage a friend or two to join in and show your thanks to Mr Skuse. We would also love it if you could make a sign for Mr Skuse saying ‘thank you for the music’ and show it to the camera at the end.
We have decided to use our weekly singalong as an opportunity to share birthday wishes and to sing Happy Birthday to anyone celebrating their birthday during the week. Please get in touch with Suzi on development@esms.org.uk if you would like a birthday message read out and Happy Birthday sung. We can of course celebrate more than one birthday, whether it is for a child or perhaps self-isolating grandparents who could be invited to join us on Zoom to receive a special greeting from their grandchildren. What a lovely surprise that could be!
We publish a list of songs here the day before with links to some lyrics. Because of lag between computers and connections, we do mute all participants so that you can clearly hear Mr Skuse.

Every week we will offer our singalong participants a different opportunity to win a very small prize for originality during our singalong! This week we would like children to make a hand to wave. Suzi will select a winner and will arrange to distribute a small prize once we are allowed back in our office.
