Our regular photo competition launched on 11 January with the topic of ‘Festive Fun’. We had entries from alumni, parents and children around the UK and we are delighted to announce the winners as follows.
Adults
The overall winner is this fantastically festive and furry Christmas picture sent in by Mike Bain, a 1970 Melville College leaver. The subjects featured are (L-R) Fiaraidh, Phoebe, Iona and Skye who posed beautifully for their picture in front of the festively decorated fire.
Children
It was difficult to decide with the children’s category as there were some incredibly strong entries. Poppy’s cake is the most festive photo we received in this category. We particularly liked the snowman and trees on the top layer and the cake itself looks yummy!
As always, we have included all the entries below for your own judgement! There are some lovely pictures and some that are even suitable for our next topic of ‘Winter Walks’, the deadline for which is Monday 8 February at 4pm.
