Angela Brennan, ESMS parent of two boys in S1 and S4, has produced some amazing handmade cards to show appreciation for her children’s teachers and the efforts they went to during the pandemic.  She would like to share the techniques with our ESMS community in case you want to make some beautiful art for someone in your life.

Angela has a passion for crafting and loves all things related to paper and ink as well as die cutting.  She loves to make cards in her spare time and try new techniques in her craft pursuits which she enjoys around her roles as mother and accountant.

If you’re looking for an activity to entertain children over the upcoming bank holiday weekends, these are great at keeping children occupied whilst also giving an opportunity to produce something worth gifting to friends or family at the end.

Angela has prepared three videos for us, although you can see more and different techniques on her youtube channel too.  The videos she has prepared for us are:

Card making for beginners – paper weaving
Card making for beginners – paper piecing
Card making for beginners – water colour techniques

We hope you enjoy using these techniques to produce some lovely art for your friends and family!
